Dubai-based lender Mashreq posted a Q3 2026 attributable net profit of AED 2.03 billion ($553 million), up 21% year-on-year (YoY), supported by higher non-interest income and lower impairment charges.

Net interest income and income from Islamic financing rose 8% YoY to AED 2.29 billion, while non-interest income jumped 19% to AED 1.29 billion.

Total operating income increased 12% to AED 3.58 billion, while operating profit rose 13% YoY to AED 2.46 billion.

Impairment charges fell to AED 7 million in Q3 from AED 121 million in the year-ago quarter. The lender said “recoveries on previously written-off exposures continued to offset new provisioning”.

For the nine-month period, Mashreq’s attributable net profit rose 7% YoY to AED 6.52 billion.
