CIF/FOB Gulf Grain-US Gulf soybean bids steady to higher

Prices also came under pressure from early losses in corn and soybean futures after a US-China summit failed to immediately deliver concrete announcements on additional Chinese purchases of American crops, analysts said. GRA/
The United States is expected to release details on the outcome of trade negotiations with China on Monday, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said on Friday.
US President Donald Trump welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping to the White House on Thursday but there was little sign of a breakthrough on a host of sensitive issues.
At the Gulf, bids for CIF soybean barges loaded in October rose 6 cents to $1.00 over Chicago Board of Trade November soybean futures, and bids for October soy barges were $1.09 over futures.
CIF Gulf corn basis bids were largely steady. Barges loaded in September were bid 59 cents over CBOT December futures and offered around 70 cents over futures.
