Cboe shares rise on plans for event-driven products plan

** Cboe Global Markets CBOE.Z shares rise 4.8% to $274.40 after announcing plans to launch binary contracts tied to company metrics, with Robinhood HOOD.O as its first retail partner

** The new contracts will be tied to company-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) and are expected to launch in Oct 2026, pending regulatory approval

** The products will initially list 23 of the most actively traded U.S. stocks, and CBOE will waive fees on the contracts through the end of 2026

** Separately, HOOD said it would offer weekend round-the-clock trading in select US stocks and ETFs

** Despite the day's gain, the stock is currently trading 26% below its 52-week intra-day high of $370.70 set on May 19, 2026
