AuAg: AuAg Funds launches in Germany

By Modular Finance

For the first time, AuAg Funds is available to investors in Germany. It is the company’s first step beyond the Nordics.

The German launch gives private investors in one of Europe’s largest fund markets access to AuAg’s full fund range: AuAg Silver Bullet, AuAg Gold Rush, AuAg Essential Metals and AuAg Precious Core.

The first platform to pick up the funds is Swissquote. AuAg is working to make the funds available on more platforms in Germany, and investors who would like to see them on their own platform are welcome to contact their bank or broker.

German investors have a long and strong relationship with precious metals. AuAg offers a different way to gain exposure. The four funds invest upstream of the metals, in carefully selected mining companies.

“Germany has a long tradition of owning gold and silver. Whether investors are looking for exposure to precious metals in a time of monetary inflation, or to the metals that build the world around us, all four of our funds are now available to them. It’s an important step for us, and the first of many as we grow beyond the Nordics,” says Christopher Svensson, CEO, AuAg Funds.

The AuAg funds are already available in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, with over 120,000 investors.

“When the money supply expands, every euro buys a little less, and investors have long turned to gold and silver as a store of value. Electrification adds a second driver: demand for copper, uranium and other critical metals is rising. By investing in the mining companies, our funds give investors leverage to the commodities themselves,” says Eric Strand, Lead Fund Manager & Founder, AuAg Funds.
