Restra Group AB (“Restra”) has acquired Torsby Skogs AB (“Torsby Skogs”), a well-established bioenergy and forestry contractor based in Värmland. Founder Arne Rådström and CEO Dennis Rådström will continue to run the business and become shareholders in Restra.

Torsby Skogs specialises in wood chipping, logging and thinning. Over three decades, the company has built a modern, well-maintained fleet of machines and a loyal customer base with long-standing relationships. The partnership marks Restra’s entry into Värmland, a strategically important region for the group, and lifts combined revenues above 450 MSEK.

“Torsby Skogs is a well-run family business with an excellent reputation among local customers and landowners. Arne and Dennis have built the company on quality and a long-term mindset, and we are happy to welcome them to Restra,” says Anders Ericsson, former CEO of energy company Adven, who has joined as Chairman of the Board of Restra in connection with the acquisition.

“My family has run Torsby Skogs since 1992, and I grew up with the company. We are excited to keep running the business locally with the same long-term approach as before, while now gaining shared strength and upside as part of Restra. For our customers, suppliers and employees, it's business as usual, and with the backing of a larger group we are even better positioned for the future. We're really excited about this,” says Dennis Rådström, CEO of Torsby Skogs.
