Pernod Ricard (RI) is a French group and one of the global leaders in the industry of wines and spirits. The company appeared in 1975, as a result of the merger of two spirits companies: Pernod (established in 1805) and Ricard (established in 1932). Pernod Ricard manages a comprehensive portfolio of internationally recognised brands, including Absolut Vodka, Campo Viejo wine, The Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky, Havana Club Rum, etc. 17 of the brands comprise the top 100 international wine and spirits brands. Pernod Ricard operates 96 production sites with 18,500 employees. Its stock is listed on the Euronext Paris and it is part of the CAC 40 index.
