Funding Circle (FCH) is an online peer-to-peer lending marketplace that enables investors to lend money to small and medium-sized companies. Headquartered in London, UK, it was the first website in the UK to use the process of peer-to-peer lending for business funding. Today, its operations cover several countries, including the US, the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, and Germany. Funding Circle has facilitated approximately £5 billion in loans to various businesses, as of June 2018. The Funding Circle share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index.
The business was established in 2010. During its IPO in 2018, Funding Circle was initially valued at £1.5 billion.
