The network provides charging as a service, catering directly to drivers, original equipment manufacturer charging and related services, and fleet and rideshare public charging services. 

EVgo was founded in 2010, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, US, and has a presence in more than 850 locations across over 30 states as of July 2022. 

EVgo offers three plans for charging vehicles: Pay As You Go, EVgo Membership and EVgo Plus. Along with the charging network, EVgo provides ancillary services that include charging data integration, electric vehicle supply equipment installation and more. 

EVgo Inc. stock was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) through the merger with Climate Change Crisis Real Impact I Acquisition Corp, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) in 2022.
