The Bancorp, Inc. is a financial holding company, and its primary subsidiary is The Bancorp Bank (the Bank). The Company's segments include Specialty Finance and Payments. The Company has four primary lines of specialty lending, which includes securities-backed lines of credit (SBLOC) and insurance policy cash value-backed lines of credit (IBLOC), vehicle fleet and other equipment leasing, small business loans (SBL) and loans generated for sale into capital markets through commercial loan securitizations and other sales (CMBS). Its SBLs, are small business administration (SBA) loans. Its SBLOCs and IBLOCs are loans, which are generated through institutional banking affinity groups and are respectively collateralized by marketable securities and the cash value of insurance policies. Its payments business offers a range of products and services, including checking accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, commercial accounts and various types of prepaid and debit cards.
