Unione Di Banche Italiane (UBI), or UBI Banca, one of the largest Italian commercial banks. The company appeared in April 2007, as a result of the merger between Banca Lombarda e Piemontese and Banche Popolari Unite (BPU). Currently headquartered in Bergamo, Italy, the group operates 1,948 branches across Italy. UBI Banca delivers banking, business loans, deposits, mortgages, online securities brokerage services, insurance, pension and investment fund management, etc. The company employs over 22,000 staff members.
