StoneCo Company profile
StoneCo is a Brazil-based information technology service management company that offers financial technology solutions to its customers and allows merchants and integrated partners to carry out electronic commerce more effectively.
The financial technology services are available across physical and online stores, and across mobile channels. As of the first quarter of 2022, the company had 1.9 million active clients.
Shares of StoneCo trade on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol STNE. The company’s initial public offering (IPO) took place on 24 October 2018. The firm offered 50.72 million common shares at a price of $24 per share under its IPO.
As of July 2022, StoneCo does not declare a dividend for its shareholders. The company’s financial year lasts from 1 January to 31 December.
