International home repairs and improvement company HomeServe saw revenues rise to £366m in the first half of 2017, up 16% from the same period last year, but profits before tax fell 5% to £21.2m.
EBITDA rose 17% to £56.1m and statutory operating profit was up 12% at £25.5m. Earnings per share were down 5% at 5.1p.
Richard Harpin, founder and group chief executive of HomeServe, said: “I am delighted with the progress we made across our business in the first six months of this financial year.”
