Nicole has been a financial journalist since 2000 and has specialised in covering commodity prices for daily publications since 2008. Starting her career at the height of the dotcom boom, she covered venture capital financing at a technology start-up before moving into reporting on telecom technology for five years. 

After more than a decade at global commodity price reporting agency Argus Media, Nicole went freelance in 2020, joining Capital.com. In addition to covering the latest news on stocks, commodities, cryptocurrencies and FX pairs, she writes corporate blogs for companies in the clean energy and fintech industries. 

She is fascinated by the interplay between telecom and industrial metals with the advent of 5G, Internet-of-Things applications and the clean energy transition.
