Aggreko PLC is a world leading provider of mobile power solutions, including temporary power generation equipment and temperature control systems. Today, the UK-based group manages more than 200 operating sites across over 100 countries.

Today Aggreko is headquartered in Glasgow, Scotland, and has a team of more than 6,000 permanent and temporary employees. The company has offices in Western Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States and a smaller number of locations in Latin America, Asia and the Middle East.

The company managed to become the sole supplier of temporary power and temperature controls at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008, and the sole provider of temporary power at the London Olympic Games 2012. In 2012, Aggreko bought 100% of the operations of Poit Energia, a power generation equipment provider in Latin America. In 2017, the company acquired a battery storage company Younicos.
