Assura PLC (AGR) is a British-based property business with its headquarters located in Warrington. Its main operations include developing, designing, building, managing, and investing in General Practitioner ('GP') and primary care buildings all around the UK. The AGR share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index. As of August 2018, Assura announced its annual revenue of £83.5 million.
In 2003, the business was established as The Medical Property Investment Fund and was immediately listed on the London Stock Exchange. In 2006, the company rebranded as Assura Group. In fact, in 2010, Assura sold its Medical division, which is known today as Virgin Care, to Virgin Group.
