BW Offshore develops, owns and operates oil and natural gas floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels. The company also focuses on the lease and operation services of FPSO units, as well as engineering, procurement, construction and installation services. BW Offshore has been a pioneer in many respects. Thus, it was the first company that has converted and installed the first and only Arctic Oil floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel. Since its origin in 1982, BW Offshore has executed 39 FPSO and FSO projects. The company is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the symbol BWO.
