SINGAPORE, 02 November 2026 — Capital.com, the global financial group which operates a technology-led trading platform designed to support better decisions, today announced its entry into the Singapore market. Its local entity, Capital Com Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (Capital.com Singapore), has been granted a Capital Markets Services licence by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). The licence covers dealing in capital markets products, including securities and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives contracts . Founded in 2016, the group is licensed in jurisdictions including the UK, the EU, the Middle East, Africa and Australia, and Singapore is its first in Southeast Asia, reflecting the group’s practice of entering new markets under local regulation.

Access to markets has widened for traders and investors in Singapore, and with it the volume of information, commentary and noise they need to filter before making a decision. Capital.com is establishing its Singapore operations with a platform designed to reduce that noise, combining a clean interface, market information and educational content with risk-management tools that help investors understand the instruments they use and make considered decisions at their own pace.

Ahead of client onboarding, scheduled for early 2027, the Singapore team is preparing the platform and local services to meet applicable regulatory and operational requirements, including identity verification through Singpass MyInfo, full client verification before trading and mandatory two-factor authentication at sign-in.

Commenting on the MAS licence, Valentina Rzheutskaya, Executive Director, Capital.com, said:

“Singapore sets a high bar for how financial services are delivered, and the MAS licensing process examines every part of a firm’s governance, controls and capital. Holding a licence here means operating to that standard locally, with supervision of how we onboard clients, communicate risk and safeguard client assets. This licence affirms how we approach new markets, in step with local regulation and with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth. Our Singapore entity joins a group of regulated businesses built on the same principle, that access to markets should come with the structure and transparency people need to make informed decisions.”

Tony Lim joins as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Capital Com Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. He has more than 30 years of experience in Singapore’s capital markets, with roles at the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX), Singapore Exchange, DBS Vickers Securities and Saxo Capital Markets, and most recently as Chief Executive Officer of IG Asia.

Capital.com has opened an office at 9 Battery Road in Raffles Place, with local capabilities spanning compliance, operations, client services and marketing. The company will also take part in the Singapore FinTech Festival from 18 to 20 November as it begins building relationships across Singapore’s financial services ecosystem.

Commenting on the licence and Capital.com’s plans in Singapore, Tony Lim, Chief Executive Officer, Singapore, Capital.com, said:

“Our focus over the coming months is on getting the foundations right, from onboarding and client protections to the education and market insight that help people understand risk before they act. We intend to contribute to Singapore’s ecosystem through the relationships we build with regulators, educators and the industry, and through the quality of the decisions our clients are able to make.”

When onboarding opens, Singapore clients will have access to the same decision-support tools available across the Capital.com platform, including market insights and analysis, in-app explainers on how instruments and risk mechanisms work, charting tools for building an independent view, and risk-management controls such as stop-loss orders.

Further details on the Singapore platform and local services will be shared ahead of launch.
