Halfords Group PLC (HFD) is a large motoring, cycling and leisure products retailer. It mainly deals with the car parts and enhancement, bicycles, camping and touring equipment, and various related tools. Headquartered in Redditch, England, its operations cover the UK and Ireland. The business also runs Halfords Autocentre providing MOT, maintenance, repairs, and service. The Halfords share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index.
The company’s roots trace back to 1892 when it was established in Birmingham by Frederick Rushbrooke as wholesale ironmongery. By 1968, Halfords had already opened its 300th store. As of 2018, the company’s total annual revenue was over £1,1 billion.
