The Crypto Index (CRY) consists of the 5 leading Cryptocurrency pairs in terms of Market Capitalization. These pairs are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin. The Index is weighted to make equal impact for all Crypto pairs and is considered as an important indicator of the sentiment towards Cryptocurrency pairs.

How is CRY calculated?

Crypto Index (CRY), is calculated as the sum of the product of each crypto pair price multiplied with its respective quantity (P1*Q1 + P2*Q2 + … + P5*Q5).

In order their impact to be equal, the quantities used are presented as below:

Q1 BTC = 1

Q2 ETH = 50

Q3 XRP = 40000

Q4 BCH = 30

Q5 LTC = 170
