Canopy Growth Corporation (WEED), previously known as Tweed Marijuana Inc., is a Smiths Falls, Canada-based cannabis company. The company’s activities comprise the production, distribution, and marketing of medical and recreational cannabis.
Canopy Growth also markets a variety of hemp-based products. Some of these include oil, dried flowers, soft-gel capsules, vapes and beverages, edibles and a basket of accessories.
The Canopy Growth stock is listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol WEED (TSX: WEED) and on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol CGC (NASDAQ: CGC).
Shares of the company cannot be purchased directly from the firm. Investors of Canopy Growth Corporation can also trade options in WEED on the Montreal Derivatives Exchange.
