Vivo Energy PLC (VVO), a Shell licensee in 16 African markets, retails and distributes petroleum products to retail and commercial customers in Africa. It was formerly known as VE Holding PLC and changed its name to Vivo Energy PLC in April 2018. The company operates through three key segments: Commercial, Retail, and Lubricants. Based in the UK, it provides supply, storage, distribution, and retail of lubricants, fuels, liquefied petroleum gas, as well as card services, shops and services, quick service restaurants, and convenience retail. Its business operations cover Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Botswana, Morocco, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Tunisia, Cape Verde, Guinea, Ghana, Namibia, Mauritius, and Uganda. The Vivo Energy share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index. In 2018, the company’s annual revenue was over $7.549 billion. Today, the business employs more than 2,350 people and operates above 2,000 retail service stations under the Shell brand. It also has access to circa 900,000 cubic metres of fuel storage capacity.
