2016 saw the introduction of PayPal’s latest innovation, the PayPal.me peer-to-peer payment platform. The new system allows users to create a personal account with personalised link to which users can send money. Recently, PayPal has also partnered with Coinbase, a platform for buying and selling cryptocurrency, marking the first steps of the company into the crypto world.
From the company’s headquarters, based in San Jose, California, the USA, PayPal offers their services worldwide. The company also has offices across the Americas, Europe and the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, with its European Operations Centres headquartered in Dublin and Dundalk, Ireland.
