About NanoString Technologies Inc
NanoString Technologies, Inc. develops, manufactures, and sells products of biological material. Its core technology includes chemistries that enable the labeling and counting of single molecules. The single-molecule chemistries enable the direct detection, identification, and quantification of individual target molecules in biological samples by attaching molecular reporters to each target molecule of interest. It uses its core technology to develop tools for scientific and clinical research. It offers two product platforms, including nCounter Analysis System, and its GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (GeoMx DSP) systems. The nCounter Analysis System is used to analyze the activity of genes in a single experiment and is also used by clinicians to analyze gene activity relevant for diagnostic applications. The GeoMx DSP is used to facilitate the analysis of selected regions of a biological sample to see how gene activity vary across those regions or in certain cell types.
