About JPmorgan Emerging Markets Inv Trust PLC
JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc is an investment trust company. Its objective is to maximize total return from emerging markets around the world through a diversified portfolio of underlying investments. It invests in a diversified spread of countries, industries and companies. It invests primarily in quoted securities in emerging stock markets and may invest in unquoted securities. Its investment policy is to invest in a diversified portfolio, concentrating on countries and shares, and also to invest approximately 50% of its assets invested in any one region, and to invest over 15% of gross assets in other the United Kingdom listed closed-ended investment funds. It invests in a range of sectors, which includes financials, information technology, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, communications services, industrials, materials, energy, healthcare, real estate and utilities. JPMorgan Funds Limited is the Company's alternative investment fund manager.
