Worldwide Healthcare Trust (WWH), formerly known as Finsbury Worldwide Pharmaceutical, is a large British closed-ended investment fund, dedicated to investments in healthcare and biotechnology companies worldwide with the objective of achieving a high level of capital growth. Launched by Frostrow Capital LLP and managed by OrbiMed Capital LLC, it seeks to invest in growth stocks of large-cap companies with a market capitalisation of at least $5 billion. The Trust uses derivative and gearing transactions. It invests about 60% of the portfolio in larger companies, and at around 20% in smaller companies. When creating its portfolio, the fund utilises fundamental analysis with a bottom-up stock picking approach. Worldwide Healthcare Trust is known to benchmark its portfolio performance against the MSCI World Healthcare Index. The Worldwide Healthcare share price is listed on the London Stock Exchange and included in the FTSE 250 Index.
