In this cryptocurrency pair, Bitcoin Cash is the base currency, and Bitcoin is the counter currency. These are the two largest crypto coins in terms of market capitalisation. Bitcoin Cash was released as a hard fork of Bitcoin Classic in August 2017, with the aim to increase the number of transactions that can be processed. In the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, they increased the block size to 8 megabytes.
