ERG SpA is an Italy-based independent power producer active in the renewable energy sector, which generates energy mostly from wind, solar, hydroelectric and thermoelectric sources. The Company’s activities are divided into three segments: Non-Programmable sources, Programmable sources and Corporate. The Non-Programmable sources segment manages the operations of the wind power production; the Programmable sources segment includes the operations of the thermoelectric and hydroelectric power generation; and the Corporate segment focuses on the administrative activities. The Company operates through its subsidiaries in Europe, mainly in Italy, France and Germany.

Financial summary

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, ERG S.p.A revenues increased 27% to EUR1.23B. Net income applicable to common stockholders increased 87% to EUR202M. Revenues reflect an increase in demand for the Company's products and services due to favorable market conditions. Dividend per share increased from EUR0.75 to EUR0.90. Basic Earnings per Share excluding Extraordinary Items increased from EUR0.72 to EUR1.35.
