LIMASSOL , CYPRUS, 24 February 2025— Capital.com, the global high-growth global trading platform and fintech group headquartered in Limassol, today announced the launch of a paid internship programme aimed at university students in Cyprus. The programme's first intake will welcome 30 students from the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK), with plans to expand the initiative to other universities across the island. The programme reflects Capital.com’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of ongoing education.

Commenting on the internship programme, Christoforos Soutzis, Chief Executive Officer, Capital.com Europe, said:

“We’re delighted to be welcoming 30 interns to work with us at the Capital.com headquarters in Limassol. Internships are a great way to discover how businesses work, build confidence and get hands-on experience.  We are excited by the calibre of the graduates participating in this programme, and supporting them with the tools they need to build successful careers in Cyprus’ dynamic financial technology sector.“

Over a three-month placement, interns will gain hands-on experience within Capital.com’s Operations and Back-Office teams, working across key areas such as data management, risk, customer support, systems, and technology. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic education and real-world experience

“As one of the fastest-growing technology companies headquartered in Cyprus, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning. This programme is a testament to that commitment, equipping students with the skills and experience needed to thrive in the fintech sector while further strengthening Cyprus’ position as a leading financial and technology hub in the region,” added Soutzis.

The programme will run throughout the year and Capital.com will collaborate with more universities across Cyprus as part of the initiative.
