Oct 23 (Reuters) - The tech-heavy Nasdaq edged higher on Friday, helped by signs of stabilization in some tech stocks, while telecom shares tumbled on concerns that SpaceX's entry in the sector could heighten competition and threaten their market share. .N

At 1:30 p.m. EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.19% at 52,236.26. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.45% at 7,628.93 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.10% at 25,982.97.
