The UAE-based Gulf Islamic Investments (GII) has acquired a majority stake in UK fractional property platform London House Exchange (LHX) for an undisclosed sum.

The stake was acquired from the AI-native mortgage and home equity finance platform, Better Home & Finance Holding Company.

GII plans to develop the LHX platform to offer broad range of alternative investments, with a focus on Shariah-compliant products, private credit opportunities, and equity-linked products through an originate-to-distribute model.

The group also plans to extend LHX’s geographic reach across international markets.

The acquisition marks GII’s second investment in the financial services space in the UK, following its investment in Offa in 2022, a UK-based Shariah-compliant mortgage lender.
