Arab Finance: Nations of Sky has launched ORB, a mixed-use project spanning approximately 15 feddans in West Cairo, with more than 700 units across two towers and seven mid-rise buildings, as per an emailed press release.

Construction has begun on several buildings, with all work scheduled for completion and handovers set to start by mid-2028, according to Tamer Nabil, vice chairman of Nations of Sky. He said the progress ahead of the official launch reflected the company’s approach of starting construction before bringing developments to market.

ORB occupies a junction linking 6th of October City, Sheikh Zayed, and New Zayed. Its location provides access to schools, healthcare facilities, everyday services, and entertainment destinations, reducing the need for lengthy journeys.

The development’s two towers will rise 26 stories to approximately 110 meters, placing them among the tallest in West Cairo, according to Nations of Sky. Together, they will accommodate more than 500 units.

One tower will contain a five-star hotel and branded residences, while the other will offer fully serviced homes with access to hotel amenities, alongside commercial and office space.

The seven mid-rise buildings will house fully finished residences in various layouts, including units with private gardens, catering to both buyers seeking homes and property investors.

Open areas and green spaces will account for 80% of the site. The company said its use of vertical development is intended to preserve privacy while balancing the towers with the mid-rise buildings. The master plan also includes areas for social activities and a layout designed to facilitate traffic movement.

Nabil said ORB formed part of the developer’s response to changing real estate demand, particularly in West Cairo, explaining that the company selected a location in an area experiencing strong growth to combine contemporary design, convenient access, and a comprehensive range of services for residents and investors.

The project supports Nations of Sky’s broader strategy of combining investment planning and architectural design to create integrated communities that respond to changing customer expectations and improve living standards.

Nations of Sky is the real estate development arm of the Future of Egypt, also known as Mostaqbal Misr. Its portfolio comprises 11 projects across development corridors in East and West Cairo and the North Coast.

The developer works with international partners and public- and private-sector institutions to support project quality. These alliances include a long-term partnership with Egypt-based telecommunications operator Orange Egypt to develop digital and technological infrastructure.

It is also expanding cooperation with international hospitality brands to offer upscale branded residences and is developing the first real estate project within the New Delta initiative, supporting national objectives for urban development and economic sustainability.

Across its portfolio, Nations of Sky prioritizes construction before launch and the delivery of fully finished units, with an emphasis on construction and finishing quality.
