Bahrain Bourse (BHB), a licensed exchange regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, has announced the approval of Abu Dhabi Islamic Securities (ADIB) Company as an external broker, reinforcing its ongoing efforts to enhance market accessibility and strengthen cross-border investment flows.

This BHB nod enables ADIB to execute trades on behalf of its clients on Bahrain Bourse, facilitating seamless access for regional and international investors to trade listed securities on the exchange.

The addition of ADIB to Bahrain Bourse’s authorised broker network is expected to enhance market accessibility, attract a broader range of investors, and support market liquidity.

This development aligns with Bahrain Bourse’s ongoing efforts to deepen market participation, strengthen cross-border investment flows, and advance regional capital market integration across the GCC.

Abdulla Janahi, Senior Director of Trading Operations, said: "The approval of Abu Dhabi Islamic Securities Company as an External Broker supports Bahrain Bourse’s efforts to enhance regional market connectivity within the GCC."

"Expanding access through qualified intermediaries contributes to efficient cross-border participation and supports the development of a deeper and more resilient market," he noted.

Khaled Kurdieh, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Islamic Securities Company, said: "We are pleased to receive approval from Bahrain Bourse as an External Broker. This step allows us to extend our services to clients seeking access to Bahrain’s capital market and supports our objective of facilitating seamless cross-border investment opportunities within the region."

"Onboarding ADIB, as an external broker reflects the exchange’s continued progress in building a diversified and interconnected market ecosystem," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
