Signify rises after forecast-beating Q3 profitability

By Reuters News

** Shares in world's largest lighting maker Signify LIGHT.AS rise close to 8% tracking its best intra-day gain in two years, on forecast-beating Q3 profitability boosted by US tariff refund

** Q3 EBITA came in at €145 million ($163 million), above the €113 million in a company-compiled consensus

** US tariff refund resulted in a benefit of €28 million

** Signify now expects to reach the top end of its 2026 adjusted core profit margin target range of 7.5% to 8.5%

** "The margin beat supported the stock a bit today especially given the very weak performance in 1H26 which probably resulted in low expectations," ING analyst Marc Hesselink said

** Up to the previous session's close, shares were down 32.5% YTD
