- Natural gas deliveries to two of the largest US LNG export plants fell on Monday, with data from financial firm LSEG indicating that processing units at both facilities are offline.

Cheniere Energy's LNG.N Sabine Pass export facility in Louisiana, the largest in the country, was pulling 3.6 billion cubic feet (bcf) on Monday, down from its peak of nearly 5 bcf. The decline suggests that at least two of its six trains could be offline.

Meanwhile, Freeport LNG, the fourth-largest LNG export facility in the US, was pulling under 1 bcf of gas on Monday, according to LSEG data, suggesting at least one of its three trains is down.

Neither Cheniere nor Freeport LNG immediately responded to requests for comment.

Gas demand from LNG plants in the US fell to 18.4 bcf on Monday, having averaged over 19 bcf last week, LSEG data showed.
