KONGSBERG cancels and relaunches the 2026 employee share programme
Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (KONGSBERG, OSE: KOG) has decided to cancel its 2026 employee share programme and introduce an updated and revised employee share programme on 30 October 2026.
As announced on 31 August 2026, 5,333 employees, including primary insiders, subscribed for shares under the programme.
KONGSBERG is subject to the EU Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), including rules applicable to trading in the company's own shares. Due to the regulatory framework applicable to the planned share purchases, KONGSBERG has not been able to initiate the purchases of shares. This was due to being in an active insider position for a prolonged time.
The underlying assumptions for the original subscription have changed to such an extent that the company considers it no longer valid. As a result, KONGSBERG is cancelling the programme and initiating a new subscription process. All subscriptions under the existing 2026 programme will therefore be cancelled, including the subscriptions made by primary insiders as announced on 31 August 2026.
No shares have been acquired or allocated pursuant to these subscriptions.
On 30 October 2026, KONGSBERG plans to relaunch the revised 2026 employee share programme.
