Ignitis Group's inaugural European Green Bonds admitted to trading on the Nasdaq Baltic Market

Vilnius/Riga/Tallinn, Nasdaq Baltic Market, October 27, 2026 – Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) announces that Ignitis Group’s inaugural EUR 300 million European Green Bond issuance has been admitted to trading on the Nasdaq Baltic regulated market through Nasdaq Vilnius.

Ignitis Group, the largest listed company in the Baltics and a group comprising more than 50 energy companies, issued EUR 300 million of five-year European Green Bonds with a fixed annual interest rate of 4.5%. The bonds, maturing on October 27, 2031, are also admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and displayed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX).

The issuance attracted strong interest from institutional investors across Europe and other regions. The final order book exceeded EUR 1 billion, with demand surpassing the issuance size by 3.3 times and more than 80 investors participating in the offering.

“Six years ago, Ignitis Group began its journey in the capital markets with the largest IPO in the Baltics. Today, that journey continues with its inaugural European Green Bond issuance. It is a strong example of how different financing instruments can help companies deliver long-term investments while giving investors an opportunity to contribute to the development of energy infrastructure,” says Gediminas Varnas, President of Nasdaq Vilnius.

This is Ignitis Group’s first bond issuance under the European Green Bond (EuGB) Standard, which establishes requirements for using proceeds to finance environmentally sustainable economic activities and provides investors with greater transparency on how the financed investments meet environmental criteria.

Ignitis Group has extensive experience in the green bond market. In 2017 and 2018, the company issued two EUR 300 million green bond offerings, both of which were admitted to trading on Nasdaq Vilnius and the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The new issuance continues the Group’s green financing journey while marking a new milestone as its first bond issuance under the European Green Bond Standard.

The proceeds will be used, in whole or in part, to finance and refinance investments in accordance with the requirements of the European Green Bond Regulation, as well as to refinance the Group’s existing indebtedness.

The bonds were issued under Ignitis Group’s EUR 2 billion Euro Medium Term Note Programme (EMTN). BNP PARIBAS, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, J.P. Morgan and MUFG acted as Global Coordinators and, together with SEB and Swedbank, as Joint Bookrunners, while BNP PARIBAS and J.P. Morgan also acted as Green Structuring Agents.
