France's Havas revenue rises as US growth offsets regional weakness

By Reuters News

- French advertising group Havas HAVAS.AS on Wednesday reported a 7.2% rise in third-quarter net revenue to €703 million ($781.81 million) and confirmed its full-year outlook, as growth in the US offset weakness in China and the Middle East.

  • Acquisitions contributed 3.2% to growth. Havas has bought eight majority stakes this year, including Dutch sports marketing agency SportVibes in July.

  • Organic growth was 2.4%, down from 3.8% a year earlier. North America grew 7.5%; Asia Pacific and Africa fell 6.7%; Latin America fell 4.3%.

  • Havas Health was hit by lower drug launch activity in the United States, as a number of molecules did not advance to launch following Phase III trial outcomes.

  • Havas confirmed its guidance for 2026 organic growth of 2.0% to 3.0% and an adjusted EBIT margin of 13.2% to 13.5%.

  • It also confirmed its 2028 target of an adjusted EBIT margin of 14.0% to 15.0%.
