Renasant Corporation is a bank holding company that owns and operates Renasant Bank and Renasant Insurance, Inc. The Company's segments include Community Banks, Insurance and Wealth Management. The Community Banks segment delivers a range of banking and financial services to individuals and small to medium-size businesses, including checking and savings accounts, business and personal loans, asset-based lending and equipment leasing, as well as safe deposit and night depository facilities. The Insurance segment includes a service insurance agency, which offers a line of commercial and personal insurance through carriers. The Wealth Management segment, through the Trust division, offers a range of fiduciary services, including the administration of benefit plans, management of trust accounts, inclusive of personal and corporate benefit accounts and custodial accounts, as well as accounting and money management for trust accounts.

Financial summary

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, Renasant Corp. interest income decreased 6% to $468.7M. Net interest income after loan loss provision increased less than 1% to $425.7M. Net income increased from $83.7M to $175.9M. Net interest income after loan loss provision reflects Community banks segment increase of 25% to $439.1M, also reflect Insurance segment decrease of 20% to $454K, Wealth management segment remaining flat at $1.7M.
