Barclays International consists of its Corporate and Investment Bank and Consumer, Cards and Payments businesses. It also offers multiple consumer products in Germany, including credit cards, online loans, instalment purchase financing, electronic point of sale (ePOS) financing and deposits. Barclays Execution Services is the service company providing technology, operations and functional services to businesses.

BRIEF: For the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021, Barclays PLC interest income decreased 5% to £11.24B. Net interest income after loan loss provision increased 36% to £8.69B. Net income applicable to common stockholders increased from £1.53B to £6.38B. Net interest income after loan loss provision reflects Barclays International segment increase from £2M to £2.98B.
