Wallenberg Investments enters into a voting undertaking regarding the planned demerger of Stora Enso
On 14 November 2025, Wallenberg Investments* announced its support for Stora Enso's planned separation and listing of its Swedish forest assets. The separation is intended to be carried out through a cross-border partial demerger, whereby Stora Enso's shareholders will receive all shares in the new listed company, Bergslagets Skogar. Both companies will constitute strategic investments for Wallenberg Investments.
Stora Enso's Board of Directors has resolved on a demerger plan and convened an Extraordinary General Meeting to approve the demerger. In connection with this, Wallenberg Investments has entered into a voting undertaking and will vote in favour of the demerger being carried out in accordance with the demerger plan at the Extraordinary General Meeting.
"We support the planned demerger as we believe it will create favourable conditions for enhanced focus in each company and unlock value for Stora Enso's shareholders." Kristian Sildeby, Head of Industrials, Wallenberg Investments.
