Schroders private markets boss to leave as Nuveen takes over
LONDON, Sept 29 (Reuters) - Schroders' SDR.L private markets boss Georg Wunderlin is set to leave the British money manager at the end of October just as it gets taken over by US rival Nuveen, the company said in a statement.
"Georg is a true business builder and, as we prepare for this next chapter and having built our differentiated Schroders Capital platform and helped deliver this growth, he has decided now is the right time to step away from the business," a Schroders spokesperson said.
Schroders is undergoing a wider leadership shake-up as it gets ready to be integrated by Nuveen, including several changes to its board. Bloomberg first reported Wunderlin's departure.
