JM: JM starting production of housing in Gothenburg

By Modular Finance

JM is starting production of 101 freehold apartments in the Eriksberg district on Hisingen in central Gothenburg.

The project comprises a six-storey apartment building and includes the first freehold apartments in Eriksberg. The residential units will benefit from an attractive location with good transport connections and proximity to the Göta Älv river.

The housing start takes place in the fourth quarter of 2026 and is reported within the JM Sweden business segment. Sales are underway, and occupancy and completion are expected in the second quarter of 2028.

– Following several projects with freehold apartments in neighbouring municipalities, we now look forward to offering JM’s first freehold apartments in Gothenburg, thereby introducing a new form of tenure in Eriksberg, where we continue to develop high-quality residential units, says Henrik Orrsjö, Regional Manager West, JM Sweden.
