Iraq says agreements reached with Chevron on West Qurna-2 oilfield contract
Nov 3 (Reuters) - Iraq's oil minister said on Tuesday that agreements had been reached with US oil major Chevron CVX.N regarding the contract for the West Qurna-2 oilfield, the Iraqi state news agency reported.
Chevron entered exclusive talks with Iraq in February to take over West Qurna-2, one of the world's largest oilfields, which produces about 460,000 barrels per day and was previously operated by Russia's Lukoil.
