Global nickel supply in 2026 to see first annual decline since 2015, Antaike says
Oct 15 (Reuters) - The global nickel supply in 2026 is forecast to fall by 0.8% from the year before to 3.84 million metric tons, a first annual contraction since 2015, Bai Meng, an analyst at state-backed researcher Antaike told delegates at a conference in Wenzhou city in eastern China's Zhejiang province.
Production reduction of nickel pig iron and mixed hydroxide precipitate in major producer Indonesia are the major driving forces behind a projected supply decline this year, said Bai.
