Bottler Coca-Cola HBC raises revenue outlook on pricing actions, strong demand
Nov 4 (Reuters) - Bottler Coca-Cola HBC CCH.BN, raised its annual organic revenue growth forecast on Wednesday, propelled by pricing actions and robust demand for sparkling drinks and sugar-free beverages across its key markets.
The Switzerland-based bottling partner for Coca-Cola KO.N in Central and Eastern Europe and Africa has been supported by strong demand and pricing actions despite rising energy, fuel and commodity costs in the wake of the Iran war.
The company forecast fiscal 2026 organic revenue growth slightly above 6% to 7%, compared to previous expectations of logging the top end of that range.
The bottler has adjusted product prices and packaging to better meet customer needs, as consumers become increasingly value-conscious amid rising inflation and geopolitical uncertainty.
The company reported third-quarter organic revenue growth of 9%, compared to company-compiled analyst consensus of 8%, boosted by its parent company's partnership with the FIFA World Cup in June and July, which offered special-edition Coca-Cola and Powerade packs.
“Through exciting innovation, compelling brand activations, and strong execution during the important summer period, we have continued to capture growth opportunities across our markets," CEO Zoran Bogdanovic said.
The company kept its forecast for fiscal 2026 organic operating profit growth at 8% to 10%.
The company said it was on track to complete its acquisition of African counterpart Coca-Cola Beverages Africa by the end of 2026, with antitrust regulatory approvals pending in Tanzania.
