Banca Ifis slides after watchdog concludes inspection report

** Shares in Banca Ifis IF.MI drop 7.4%, with one trader citing Bank of Italy's partially unfavourable assessment after the banking watchdog concluded its inspection

** Ifis says the regulator asked for several remedies on anti-money laundering, compliance and corporate governance

** Banca Ifis also says it has communicated to the Bank of Italy the start of proceedings related to the determination of additional capital requirements; two sanctioning proceedings have been initiated by the regulator

** "The inspection report by the Bank of Italy highlighted critical issues in several areas," says Intermonte

** "Market attention will now focus on the potential capital and accounting impacts arising from the activities requested by the supervisory authority and on the outcome of the process to dispose of the non-performing-loan business," it adds

** Including Friday's move, Banca Ifis is down 48.9% year-to-date
