Australia's Soul Patts on track to log best week in over two-months

** Shares of Australia's Washington H. Soul Pattinson SOL.AX, or Soul Patts up 3.9% for the week, headed for their best week since July 13, if gains hold

** Investment firm posted statutory FY net profit after tax of A$2.19 billion($1.54 billion), 501.9% higher than A$364 million a year ago on Thursday

** Stock was up as much as 8.6% hitting record levels at A$49.430 yesterday post results

** Stock down 2.9% on the day

** Shares of the co are up 26.4% YTD, including sessions' moves
