AkzoNobel CEO says two divestitures only remedies for planned Axalta deal
Oct 21 (Reuters) - AkzoNobel AKZO.AS will sell its European vehicle refinish business while Axalta AXTA.N its US wood finishes business as the only remedies required for their planned merger, the Dutch paint maker's chief executive said on Wednesday.
No regulator has asked for divestments beyond these two segments to secure antitrust clearance for the $25 billion deal, CEO Greg Poux-Guillaume added.
