Capital.com was the winner of the best online trading company category at the 2019 Shares Awards held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Thursday 7 November.
This is the second year in a row that capital.com has won this award, beating companies including ActivTrades, ADS Securities, AETOS, CMC Markets and Tickmill who were the other nominees in the category.
“We continue to focus on delighting our clients with a goal to provide the most beautiful trading experience - fast, intuitive, great range of markets and spreads with advanced charts, price alerts and risk management.”
This year the awards ceremony, hosted by comedian Holly Walsh, had a total of 33 categories including best forex service provider, best advisory platform, IPO of the year and transaction of the year.
BlackRock took the crown for financial services provider of the year and best investment trust group, whilst FxPro won best forex trading platform and ETX Capital won best trading education.
The Shares Awards begun its nomination process in July this year and it closed on 4 September. Nominations were then announced in Shares Magazine and on its website, and the winners were selected by public vote.
The aim of the Shares Awards is to recognise the high quality of service and products from companies in the world of retail investment, the magazine says.
