Tethys Oil is a Sweden-based energy company, primarily exploring onshore areas with known oil discoveries. With a Block 49 licence and an interest in a licence for Blocks 3&4 , Tethys Oil is a prominent player in the Omani oil and gas industry. The company also runs exploration and production activities in Lithuania and holds an interest in the Attila licence in France. The Tethys Oil group runs a number of subsidiaries, including Tethys Oil Denmark AB, Tethys Oil Spain AB, Jyllands Ollie Aps, and Odin Energy A/S. Founded in 2001, the group trades on the NASDAQ Stockholm under the TETY ticker.
